John W. Haben

Owner, Third-Generation Licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer and Certified Crematory Operator

John was born in Evanston, IL, raised and still a resident of Skokie. He received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Miami University, Oxford, OH, where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and an officer on the Interfraternity Council. He subsequently attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science and later became a licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer and Certified Crematory Operator. He holds professional memberships in Selected Independent Funeral Homes, National Funeral Directors Association, Cremation Association of North America, Illinois Funeral Directors Association, Northeastern Illinois Funeral Directors Association and the Funeral Directors Services Association of Greater Chicago. Active in the community, John is actively involved with the Rotary Club of Skokie Valley, Past President of Skokie Chamber of Commerce, the Independent Merchants of Downtown Skokie, the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. John and his wife, Molly, have six children.

In his free time, John enjoys golf, boating and giving back to his community.

William D. Haben

Licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer and Certified Crematory Operator

William was born in Evanston, IL, raised in Skokie and a current resident of Morton Grove. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from DePaul University and went on to earn his Associates in Mortuary Science from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. His professional involvements include, memberships to the Selected Independent Funeral Homes, National Funeral Directors Association, Cremation Association of North America, Illinois Funeral Directors Association, Northeastern Illinois Funeral Directors Association, and Funeral Directors Services Association of Greater Chicago. William is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Skokie Valley, the Skokie Chamber of Commerce and attends St. Peter Catholic Church. His hobbies include, spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, water sports, golfing, skiing, traveling, running and exercising.

Jerry T. Kellogg

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Jerry hails from Sioux City, IA and is a longtime resident of Des Plaines. He received his Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Northern Iowa and pursued further education to receive his Diploma of Mortuary Science from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. His professional involvements include, memberships to the Selected Independent Funeral Homes, National Funeral Directors Association, Cremation Association of North America, Illinois Funeral Directors Association, Northeaster Illinois Funeral Directors Association, and Funeral Directors Association of Greater Chicago. Jerry and his wife, Eugenia, have two daughters, Courtney and Chelsea; and are members of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jerry’s hobbies include hunting and golf.

Chad S. Reeves

Licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer and Certified Crematory Operator

Chad has over 20 years of experience in serving families. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Western Illinois University followed by a Diploma in Mortuary Science from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. His professional involvements include, memberships to the Selected Independent Funeral Homes, National Funeral Directors Association, Cremation Association of North America, Illinois Funeral Directors Association, Northeaster Illinois Funeral Directors Association, and Funeral Directors Association of Greater Chicago. Chad is involved with the Lutheran Church of the Ascension and Izaac Walton League of America. Chad and his wife, Justyne, have two daughters, Kayla and Kensey, and reside in Des Plaines. In his spare time, Chad enjoys hunting, fishing and bowling.

Devon E. F. Bezy

Funeral Director Assistant and Certified Crematory Operator

A native of Muncie, Indiana, Devon pursued both undergraduate and graduate degrees at Ball State University and Loyola University Chicago.  He has been actively involved in the funeral industry for more than 25 years.  A Benedictine Oblate of Saint Meinrad Archabbey in Indiana, he’s actively involved at Holy Name Cathedral, his parish in downtown Chicago, and at the National Shrine of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. He’s also a member of Alliance Française de Chicago.

Richard J. Kehoe

Family Service Counselor

Rich has more than 15 years of experience in funeral planning. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He  is actively involved in the Knights of Columbus Tonti Council #1567 and the St. Constance Holy Name Society.

Barbara A. Haben

Funeral Director Assistant

Barbara, a native of Chicago, is a longtime resident of Skokie and Lake Geneva, WI. She graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in Evanston. Barbara has memberships to the Selected Independent Funeral Homes, National Funeral Directors Association, Cremation Association of North America, Illinois Funeral Directors Association, Northeastern Illinois Funeral Directors Association, and Funeral Directors Services Association of Greater Chicago.

Barbara and her late husband, Bill, raised five children and now have twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Barbara attends St. Peter Catholic Church and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Molly McNulty Haben

Funeral Director Assistant

Molly, a native of Northfield, IL, is a longtime resident of Skokie. She received her Bachelors of Science in Education from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. Active in the community, Molly has memberships to the Selected Independent Funeral Homes, National Funeral Directors Association, Cremation Association of North America, Illinois Funeral Directors Association, Northeastern Illinois Funeral Directors Association, and Funeral Directors Services Association of Greater Chicago. She attends St. Peter Catholic Church with her husband, John, and their six children

In addition to raising their six children, Molly’s hobbies include gardening, volunteering at the local grade school, home decorating, yoga and physical fitness and rescuing dogs.
